NOVEMBER 10th, 2000: Buy Fred crap! That's right kids, we're trying out a little something new here at the site. T-shirts, mousepads and coffee mugs with art from "The Phantom Movie," "The Animal Game," classic Fred and OCP pictures are now available at cafepress.com, a site that makes custom shirts and things. It's another way to show your support for Fred. I spent a night not sleeping working on this first batch of designs, and they all look pretty dang spiffy. I think so anyway. I hope you like them, and check them out for a smile even if you don't buy. We won't make much money from this, but when do we ever?

OCTOBER 5, 2000: Hey, we got a good review in a national magazine! In the October 2000 issue of "Gear", on pages 24-25, there's an article called "MAD tv" about the best public access shows from around the country. "TV never had it so good," the writer says. And guess what? There's a pic from our own "The Phantom Movie" as the reviewer says "This show is Kids in the Hall meets South Park." I think that's a compliment. Groovy, man, hey, I bought 2 copies.

AUGUST 30th, 2000: So you thought the Fred team broke up a year ago when director Garrett Gilchrist left for the west coast of evil? Well, I did anyway. But guess what -- he came back and we've got a great new movie to show ya! Won't be edited together for some time, but for now enjoy photos and info and even a video clip from our latest low-budget miracle, "Excaliburger, or the Spatula in the Stone!"

JULY 25th, 2000: On saturday and sunday, July 22nd and 23rd, 2000, in Basildon, Essex, UK, the British Jedicon, an enormous Star Wars convention with stars like David "Vader" Prowse, Garrick "Biggs" Hagon, and puppeteer Tim Rose, took place, and our own The Phantom Movie was apparently screened as a very tiny part of the frankly huge festivities at this event! Though not there in person, we were immensely honored to be part of this convention, and thusly in tune with the Force. Those of you who were lucky enough to be there, please email us at tygerbug@lycos.com, we'd love to hear from you.

JUNE 10th, 2000: The final 111-minute edit of "Dr. Fred's The Phantom Movie" is now finished and ready for the film festival circuit. The 2 1/2 hour cut of "The Animal Game" is done. And the Fredmovies are still being reedited into new 26-minute tv shows, to be aired on cable access. Every episode features classic Fred sketches along with previously-unaired and new material from the Fred archives. Dr. Fred can apparently still be seen in northern Indiana every Wednesday night at 10:30pm (sometimes at 11:00pm) thru the good graces of AT&T Cable, on cable channel 03. This started January 26th, 2000. Each episode airs for two consecutive weeks. It will air all over the campus of the University of Notre Dame, too, extending even into Michigan. It may also be airing on Marcus cable, channel 46, in and around Fort Worth, Texas, and in Tucson, Arizona on channel 63 with a cable box, 55 without, and online with Realvideo.

More news as it comes, and please write us at TygerBug@lycos.com if you can get Fred shown in your area!
