[ The Holy Grail ]
[ Scripts, Transcripts, Screenplays and Titbits ]
There are so many
versions of this script that instead of trying to make our own, we decide
just to link to some of the best.
So take a look at the following scripts by the ever-talented Garrett Bug
Gilchrist, (you can get all these scripts as well as many others by downloading
the PythoNET script
collection).
- A full transcript of the film.
- The original shooting script (includes a comprehensive guide to scenes cut or changed in the final film).
- Monty Python's Second Film (the original script for the grail, much of which is set in modern times, which later became Monty Python and the Holy Grail the book).
- The Album of the Soundtrack of the Trailer of the Film of Monty Python and the Holy Grail (original material from the tie-in record album).
- Fun stuff to try in the Holy Grail CD-ROM game
After you've read all that, you could try Stone Dead Productions' multimedia script, which is supposedly the world's most accurate script of this film. Unfortunately the dialogue is in RealAudio, and every time real player gets a new release it seems mor cluttered and clumsy. But, before proceeding, please read this important disclaimer from Stone Dead Productions.
