Garrett Gilchrist has worked as a professional graphic designer and animator for ten years, with clients including The Raconteurs (feat. The White Stripes' Jack White), Monty Python (Blisshouse, Inc.), and Python collaborator Neil Innes. He is a graduate of the USC film school and has directed several feature films including "Shamelessly" and "Gods of Los Angeles." His work has appeared on the Spider-man 3 DVD sold at TARGET, and he has filmed material for Star Trek's Walter Koenig. His animation has won awards and screened at film festivals. Full-length animated pilots have included "Terry Pratchett's Mort," "Dance With Grandpa," and the 19-minute WhoSprites reel. Known as a scholar on the work of animator Richard Williams (Who Framed Roger Rabbit?), and for restoring Williams' lost film "The Thief and the Cobbler," Garrett is an animation correspondent for the Editor's Guild Magazine, and has been a private animation tutor and guest animation lecturer at Santa Monica City College and ASIFA-SF.
